Inter Milan moved a step closer to retaining their Serie A title despite conceding a last-minute goal in a 1-1 draw with 10-man Juventus at Stadio Olimpico.

Mario Balotelli almost put the visitors ahead after 10 minutes when he found himself one on one with goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, who managed to get something on Balotelli's shot to slow the ball down before Tiago cleared off the line.

Marco Marchionni wasted Juve's best chance of the half in the 31st minute, waiting too long to shoot and letting charging goalkeeper Júlio César block his shot on a counter-attack.

Inter went ahead in the 64th minute when Balotelli redirected in a perfect cross from Sulley Muntari, who was in turn set up by Zlatan Ibrahimović down the left flank.

Tiago was then saw red following bad challenges on Muntari and Balotelli and the hosts had to play for the final 15 minutes with 10 men.

Still, Buffon kept Juve's chances alive with a great save on a shot from Dejan Stanković in the 79th minute before also repelling a snapshot from Julio Cruz.

Sebastian Giovinco replaced Alessandro Del Piero for the final 10 minutes and he set up the equaliser in stoppage time, sending a corner to Zdeněk Grygera who headed past César from seven yards.
