Franco Baresi: Carlo will lead Chelsea to Champions League title

AC Milan legend Franco Baresi believes his former Rossoneri team-mate Carlo Ancelotti is more than capable of guiding Chelsea to Champions League glory.
Ancelotti was installed as the new boss at Stamford Bridge with implicit orders from owner Roman Abramovich to finally lead the club to Champions League triumph, a task which has eluded so many managers before him.
And Baresi believes Abramovich has found the right man for the job.
Speaking from the Grass Roots Football Live exhibition in Birmingham, he declared: "Ancelotti is one of the best managers in the world. He achieved everything he could with AC Milan. He knows how it works.
"He sees in England he can achieve top awards. He probably went to Chelsea because he knows what it is like to win the Champions League.
"He has a self-belief which he can transmit to the players. And he has an enthusiasm too.
"With that formula, Chelsea can win the Champions League."
