Pato could leave Milan - Agent

Gilmar Veloz, the agent of AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato, admits he cannot guarantee the teenage wonderkid will stay at the San Siro next season.

The 19-year-old has been linked with a switch to Chelsea, who recently appointed former Rossoneri boss Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager, with reports suggesting the West London outfit has offered £45 million for the Brazil international.

Pato has been quick to distance himself from the rumours, suggesting he is happy in Italy, but his representative has given a different story.

"Milan have to decide Pato’s situation," Veloz told Antenna 3 television.

"We are enthusiastic about Chelsea’s interest in the player, but the final decision is entirely down to Milan.

"Pato has a contract with Milan, but if the club reached an agreement with Chelsea, then we would be willing to negotiate.

"Right now, however, I cannot give any guarantees to the fans that Pato will remain at Milan. It's up to the club."
