Kaká has been handed an immediate return to AC Milan with Real Madrid paired alongside his former club in the group stage of the Champions League.
The Brazilian star left the Rossoneri this summer after spending six years at the San Siro.
"Returning to Milan is something very special for me," Kaká told www.uefa.com. "Not only am I going there to face my colleagues but also my friends.
"It's a club I obviously have a huge amount of affection for.
"I expect a very warm welcome because I have a lot of love for the fans at the San Siro."
