Liverpool edged up towards the Champions League spots with an impressive 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
The Reds opened the scoring after just six minutes when Dirk Kuyt latched on to Alberto Aquilani's neat ball and slipped his shot into the corner.
Kuyt then scored his second from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time after Sébastien Bassong hacked down David Ngog.
