Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Bolton Wanderers will have to play their fifth-round match again after drawing 1-1 at the Reebok Stadium.

The Trotters deservedly had the lead at the break with Kevin Davies finding the back of the net for Owen Coyle's side.

But Jermain Defoe smashed in a second-half leveller for Spurs who should have gone on to win the game.

Referee Phil Dowd gave a penalty in the 71st minute after Sam Ricketts was adjudged to have handled the ball in the area, but Tom Huddlestone's spot-kick was brilliantly kept out by Jussi Jääskeläinen.
