Premier League: Portsmouth 1-2 Aston Villa

Aston Villa came from behind to beat Premier League's bottom club Portsmouth 2-1 at Fratton Park and keep their top-four hopes alive.

Portsmouth opened the scoring after just ten minutes with a well-worked move involving several players before Michael Brown provided a classy finish from 12 yards.

John Carew then beat the offside trap and stepped inside Marc Wilson to fire Villa level six minutes later.

And it looked like Villa would have to settle for a point until substitute Nathan Delfouneso found the net with just eight minutes left to play.
