Maxi López could leave if 'top club' comes calling

The agent of Argentine striker Maxi López has revealed that a move away from Catania could be on the cards at the end of the season, but only for a top club.

The former Barcelona and FC Moscow forward has impressed during the early part of the season and has reportedly attracted interest from across Europe.

Manchester United were thought to be keeping tabs on his progress, and representative Dario Bombini has admitted his client could leave Catania with the Premier League a possible destination.

Bombini told Itasportpress.it: "In June, he will only leave Catania to go to a top club.

"On a technical level, I think the Premier League would be better for Maxi than La Liga or the Bundesliga.

"But it depends on the offers that are likely to come from Italy and the rest of Europe."
