Ibrahim Afellay to leave PSV in January

PSV Eindhoven captain Ibrahim Afellay is set to depart Philips Stadion in the January transfer window after failing to agree terms for a new contract.
Afellay is out of contract at the end of this season and the Dutch giants are prepared to sell the 24-year-old in the next window with plenty of big clubs lining up to buy him.
The Dutch midfielder has already been linked with a move to Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Inter Milan, and Juventus.
A statement on the club's website read: "PSV and Ibrahim Afellay have jointly concluded that, for several reasons, it is unrealistic to have his contract extended.
"Afellay has pledged to make every effort to ensure he would not leave PSV without a reasonable fee for the club."
