Samir Nasri does 'a Wayne Bridge' on William Gallas

Sunday, November 21, 2010

Like Wayne Bridge before him, Samir Nasri carried out his childish threat to not shake hands with William Gallas, the player he has been at war with for two years.

The Arsenal players made their way down the line, first completing the pre-match goodwill gesture with the match officials before reaching the Tottenham Hotspur players, captained by Gallas.

But when Nasri neared his fellow Frenchman and former teammate, he moved out of turn to avoid Gallas.

The Spurs center back, though, didn't seem too bothered as he received warm embraces from Denílson and Alex Song as well as a hug from Bacary Sagna.

The feud between Nasri and Gallas stretches back to a row on France duty at Euro 2008 and intensified when the latter wrote in his autobiography about the insolence of an unnamed youngster, now known to be Nasri.

The two went all of last season at Arsenal without speaking to each other and now, Nasri has made a public show of his timid hatred.
