Premier League: Man City 4-3 Wolves

Table of Contents
Manchester City moved provisionally to the top of the Premier League table after holding off a Wolverhampton Wanderers comeback to triumph 4-3 at Eastlands.

Wolves were outstanding in the opening half and deservedly took the lead through Nenad Milijaš in the 12th minutes.

Kolo Toure drew City level just before the break, before Carlos Tévez inspired the Citizens to victory as he scored twice with Yaya Touré also getting on the scoresheet.

Despite being 4-1 down, Wolves refused to give up and a Kevin Doyle penalty and Ronald Zubar header gave them hope but they just could not find an equalizer that nobody would have begrudged them.
