Ronaldo and Pandiani were involved in an altercation during Sunday's clash between the two teams, which Osasuna won 1-0.

"What Cristiano should do is learn from Lionel Messi, and leave out this cocky attitude," Pandiani told a press conference.

"He is the one who creates all problems, every weekend, and should be penalised.

"He should look to be the best in the world, and see if he is able to learn a little more.

"He has a screw loose. He has to learn to be more humble."

According to media reports, Ronaldo sparked the row by asking Pandiani about his salary, to which the veteran responded that he had won more titles in the game.

He added: "It is quite right, what has been said, happened. When he wins the Copa del Rey, the Super Cup and the titles I have, then maybe I will listen. In our field we are respected.

"Real Madrid should think about why Barcelona are applauded everywhere but they are booed and jeered.

"Barcelona, they are a team of people. Madrid footballers do not deserve such treatment, but pay for the follies of others."

Pandiani has won the Copa del Rey three times, with Deportivo La Coruña in 2002, with Real Mallorca in 2003 and with Espanyol in 2006.

Ronaldo enjoyed a trophy-laden stint with Manchester United, winning the European Champions League and three English titles plus three cups along with several top individual awards, but the 25-year-old has yet to earn any silverware since joining Real in a record £80 million deal in 2009.
