NBA star and self-confessed Tottenham Hotspur fan Steve Nash held his 4th annual soccer match, Showdown in Chinatown, in New York on Wednesday.

This year the Phoenix Suns' point guard gathered some of his best friends from the basketball and soccer worlds to Sara D. Roosevelt Park in the Lower East Side.

Nash's Blue team included NBA players Leandro Barbosa and Raja Bell and Jersey-born Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi, who unofficially notched six goals.

Meanwhile, the White team included retired American soccer star Claudio Reyna, NBA stars Grant Hill and Tony Parker and World Cup winners Youri Djorkaeff and Patrick Vieira.

The event benefited the Steve Nash Foundation, which provides medical support, personal development and education to under privileged kids.

The game itself was a sight to behold. Nash showed us all that he is ridiculously good at both basketball and soccer, and fan favorite Rossi toyed with NBA defenders in front of cheering Italian fans.

Unfortunately the ominous skies broke just after halftime, causing some in the crowd of 300-plus to scatter.

At the end, it was Blue team 16, White team 10 with Rossi winning the Hublot Player of the Match watch - but a win for children everywhere.
