EuroMillions winner to buy private box at Camp Nou

EuroMillions jackpot winner Colin Weir has already identified a personal box at Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium as his top priority for spending his £161 million fortune.

Colin and Chris Weir were handed a cheque for £161,653,000 on Tuesday night after matching all five winning numbers plus the two Lucky Stars.

The amount is the largest lottery win ever and makes them the 420th richest in the UK, close to David and Victoria Beckham, who have a fortune of £165 million, according to the Sunday Times Rich List.

"I will devote some of the winnings to watching some football - but I'm not buying a football club," Colin explained.

"I would want to buy a box at Barcelona, if one becomes available."

Such an extravagance could set him back up to £100,000 - although nowadays that's peanuts to the multimillionaire.
