Levante's unbeaten start to the campaign continued with a surprise 1-0 home success over Real Madrid at Estadi Ciutat de Valencia.
The visitors played a man down from the 40th minute after Sami Khedira was sent off for pushing over Sergio Ballesteros during a spat that broke out between the two teams over a foul disputed by Ángel di María.
And Levante took advantage to grab the winner as Arouna Koné collected Javi Venta's cutback before firing into the roof of the net in the 68th minute.
