A sensational Stefano Mauri overhead kick was the highlight as Lazio beat Napoli 3-1 to leave the Partenopei six points adrift in their pursuit of Champions League football.
The hosts took an early lead through Antonio Candreva before Goran Pandev drew Napoli level in the 34th minute.
But Lazio regained the lead in spectacular style midway through the second-half.
Ştefan Radu picked out Mauri with a cross from the left and the 32-year-old met it with a stunning overhead kick that flew into the near top corner that left Napoli goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis no chance.
It was a stunning strike worthy of winning any game and Lazio sealed the win with Cristian Ledesma's penalty late on.
"Mauri scored a goal very much like the ones he used to get," beamed Lazio coach Edy Reja after the game.
