The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are rumoured to be lining up January bids for the 20-year-old, and he bumped up his price tag by firing the Eagles into the lead in style.

Yannick Bolasie robbed Oliver Norwood on the right-hand corner of the penalty area and slipped in Zaha with a sublime back heeled flick.

The gifted young England international then charged into the box, sidestepped Jack Hunt before thumping an unstoppable shot in off the underside of the crossbar.

But Huddersfield equalised with 15 minutes of the match left when goalkeeper Palace Julián Speroni allowed Keith Southern's tame shot to roll through his legs and into the net.
