Filippo Inzaghi bagged a brace in AC Milan's 5-1 win at Siena on Sunday, taking him to the magic third century.

The Rossoneri may have put five goals past Siena, but two of them were particularly special as they were goals number 299 and 300 of Inzaghi’s glittering career.

The 35-year-old striker has made a living as one of the finest poachers in the business as there can be no arguments against his ability to be in the right place at the right time.

"I feel just like a child," he told Sky Italia. "Last Sunday I took the match-ball home after my hat-trick and now I'll do the same because this is the day of my goal number 300.

"I thank all my teammates in every squad I've played for. Titles with your club are important, but these individual records also make you feel very special.

"Destiny is extraordinary. The first goal I scored was against Siena, and to get 300 goals is a remarkable achievement.

"The most important ones were probably the double I scored in Athens for the Champions League final against Liverpool, but there have been plenty of memorable ones. Every goal has particular significance to a striker."
