Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero welcomed the birth of his second child, Dorotea, on Tuesday morning.
Del Piero and his wife Sonia already have a son, Tobias, who was born on October 22 2007.
The news comes on the same day that it was revealed Del Piero's teammate Gianluigi Buffon is also expecting his second child.
