Del Piero welcomes second child

Del Piero and his wife Sonia already have a son, Tobias, who was born on October 22 2007.
The news comes on the same day that it was revealed Del Piero's teammate Gianluigi Buffon is also expecting his second child.
"Sonia and I became parents for the second time," announced the happy captain on his official website, www.alessandrodelpiero.com.
"Dorotea was born yesterday and we can't be happier. We would like to share with you this joyful event. Mummy and baby are very well.
"We would like to thank you all for numerous warm greetings received. Alessandro."
