Málaga beat Atlético Madrid 3-0 at La Rosaleda thanks to goals from Nabil Baha, Manu and Xavi Torres.
Baha put the hosts ahead on 34 minutes with an acrobatic overhead kick before Manu scored from a corner in the 62nd minute.
Atlético's misery was made complete in the 89th minute when more non-existent marking allowed Torres to head Selim Benachour's corner into the roof of the net.
