Portugal were held by Group 1 leader Denmark to a 1-1 draw at a sold-out Parken Stadium.
Nicklas Bendtner gave the Danes the lead in the 41st minute when he thumped a fierce drive in off the crossbar past Eduardo.
But with just three minutes left, Liedson, who recently became a Portuguese citizen, rose above the defence to head a leveler for the visitors.
