France could only muster a 1-1 draw at home to Romania to stay second behind Serbia in Group 7.

Thierry Henry opened the scoring when he headed home from six yards just two minutes into the second half.

But Romania snatched a draw when Julien Escudé stuck out his leg and turned the ball past his own goalkeeper in the 54th minute.
