Champions League Group C: Marseille 1-2 AC Milan

Filippo Inzaghi struck twice to give AC Milan a narrow 2-1 victory over Olympique Marseille at Stade Vélodrome.

The veteran put his team ahead in the 30th minute before Gabriel Heinze headed home the equaliser early in the second half.

But as Marseille went in search of a winner, Inzaghi struck at the other end to secure victory for Milan in their Champions League Group C opener.
