Sevilla rebounded from an opening-day defeat to beat Real Zaragoza 4-1 at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.
Abdoulay Konko had put Sevilla ahead in the eighth minute before Javier Arizmendi equalized in the 33rd minute with his second goal of the season.
Luís Fabiano restored Sevilla's advantage on the stroke of half-time when he beat Juan Pablo Carrizo to Álvaro Negredo's flick-on to tip the ball over the Zaragoza goalkeeper.
Diego Perotti gave the home side a two-goal cushion in the 57th minute and Fabiano put the icing on the cake three minutes from time.
