Valencia wasted a chance to climb to third in La Liga as they were held to 0-0 draw against Deportivo La Coruña at the Riazor.
Depor were unlucky not to be granted two penalties late on in the first half, while Juan Carlos Valerón saw his header crash off the crossbar as both sides had to settle for a stalemate.
