Inter Milan are through to the knockout stages of the Champions League after a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Russian champions Rubin Kazan at the San Siro.

Mario Balotelli was the star of the show for the Nerazzurri, first setting up Samuel Eto'o for the opening goal with a neat flick and then rifling a brilliant long-range free-kick midway through the second half.
