Spain claimed their first away victory over France since 1968 with a 2-0 win in Paris thanks to first-half goals from David Villa and Sergio Ramos.
Valencia ace Villa struck in the 21st minute after being set up by Andrés Iniesta before Ramos doubled his team's lead on the stroke of halftime with a left-footed shot that took a significant deflection off Julien Escudé before nestling in the far side of the net.
