Real Mallorca moved into the final Champions League spot as they thrashed 10-man Atlético Madrid 4-1 at the ONO Estadi.
Mallorca took the lead through Víctor Casadesús after only 12 minutes but Diego Forlán hit back for the visitors midway through the first-half.
Aritz Aduriz restored Mallorca's advantage almost immediately and there was only ever likely to be one winner after Raúl García was sent off 10 minutes into the second half.
Luis Perea added to Atlético's pitiful performance by sweeping a shotin the goal from a corner in the 86th minute before Felipe Mattioni volleyed a spectacular fourth for the Islanders in the last minute.
