Inter Milan maintained their one-point lead over second-placed AS Roma as they cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bologna at the San Siro.
Thiago Motta broke the deadlock in the 29th minute when the midfielder controlled a lofted pass on his chest before firing a low shot from the edge of the area.
Mario Balotelli made it 2-0 on 52 minutes in his first game back in six after having been dropped by coach José Mourinho, before Motta sealed the win with his second in the 85th minute.
