AC Milan remained in the third Champions League place despite a 1-0 defeat to Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Genoa took the lead against the run of play thanks to a header from Giuseppe Sculli, who was left alone to nod past Dida from the centre of the penalty area in the 57th minute.
To compound Milan's misery, Mathieu Flamini was sent off for a second bookable offence with six minutes to go.
