Barcelona secured a 2-1 away win over Atletico Madrid for their first win at the Vicente Calderón since the 2006/07 season.
Lionel Messi celebrated the 10th anniversary of his arrival to Barcelona with a 13th-minute opener before Raúl García headed home an equaliser for the hosts in the 25th minutes.
The defending champions regained their lead eight minutes later when Gerard Piqué finished off a cross from Messi.
Atlético finished with 10 players after Tomáš Ujfaluši was sent off late on following a challenge on Messi in stoppage time.
