AS Roma climbed to seventh in the Serie A table with a comfortable 2-0 home victory over Lecce which was overshadowed by a red card for Francesco Totti.
The Giallorossi opened the scoring midway through the second half as John-Arne Riise whipped over a cross from the left and Nicolás Burdisso rose above everyone else to head home.
Mirko Vučinić wrapped up the victory in the 76th minute when he raced in from the left before slotting home past Antonio Rosati.
However, the goal was overshadowed by red cards for Totti and Rubén Olivera, who clashed moments after the ball hit the back of the net.
