Marco Borriello and Mirko Vučinić each converted second-half penalties as AS Roma beat Serie A leaders Lazio 2-0 in an entertaining derby at the Stadio Olimpico.
Borriello opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 52nd minute after the referee ruled that Stephan Lichtsteiner had deflected Fábio Simplício's goalbound shot with his hand.
Roma then earned another penalty three minutes from time when André Dias tripped Júlio Baptista inside the area and Vučinić had no trouble with his ensuing spot-kick.
