Kenny Dalglish claimed his first victory since returning as Liverpool manager with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
Liverpool broke the deadlock when Raul Meireles fed Fernando Torres to slot comfortably home with 36 minutes gone.
Meireles increased the lead with a stunning volley four minutes into the second half and Torres wrapped up the victory in injury time when he turned home a Dirk Kuyt pass into the top of an empty Wolves net.
