The Italian departed Stamford Bridge on Sunday after presiding over a trophyless season that saw the Blues finish second in the Premier League.

Media in Italy have constantly linked Ancelotti with a return to AS Roma, but the 51-year-old insists he's in no rush to return to the dugout, and when he does, it'll be somewhere a lot closer to his West London home.

When asked about Roma, Ancelotti told Sky Sports 24: "I have never had any kind of contact with the club. I also still have to resolve my contract with Chelsea.

"My intention is to remain in England. I have spent two beautiful years in London, a place where I have felt really comfortable. I want to stay here and I'm in no rush to find a job.

"Since 1995 I've only had a little break from coaching and this could be an opportunity for me to see new things in order to face new challenges.

"For example, I will soon go to see what Luciano Spalletti is doing in Russia with Zenit."
