Clarence Seedorf scored the only goal as reigning champions AC Milan claimed their first victory in Serie A this season following a 1-0 win over bottom-placed Cesena on home soil.
The veteran Dutchman opened the scoring in the fifth minute when he fired in a 25-yard shot which went just under the bar to beat Cesena goalkeeper Nicola Ravaglia.
