Cagliari enjoyed an impressive start to the Serie A season with a 2-1 away win against 10-man AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
Daniele Conti put the visitors ahead in the 68th minute and Roma were handed another blow 60 seconds later when José Ángel was dismissed for serious foul play.
Substitute Moestafa El Kabir doubled Cagliari's lead in the fourth minute of added time before Daniele De Rossi made it 2-1 six minutes into stoppage time.
