Serie A: AS Roma 2-3 AC Milan

Sunday, October 30, 2011

Zlatan Ibrahimović scored a brace as AC Milan inflicted a 3-2 home defeat on AS Roma to notch their fourth straight league victory.

The visitors led through Ibrahimović's goal in the 16th minute before Nicolás Burdisso equalised for Roma shortly after.

Alessandro Nesta restored Milan's lead at the half-hour mark and although they lost midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng to a red card in the 65th minute, Ibrahimović gave Milan a two-goal cushion with his second goal of the game on 78 minutes.

Substitute Bojan Krkić gave Roma brief hope when he scored three minutes from time but it was too late for the home side to mount a comeback.
