Chicken invades pitch at Blackburn - AGAIN
Table of Contents
The chickens of Blackburn Rovers once again conspired to invade the pitch at Ewood Park - possibly in protest against poultry company owners Venky's.
A cockerel wearing a small flag as a cape appeared in the first half during the East Lancashire derby between Blackburn and Burnley on Sunday.
The match was interrupted for two minutes as a steward rushed to collect the chicken amid cheers from the crowd.
Of course, this is not the first time that a chicken has invaded the Ewood Park pitch.
Last May, a chicken was also thrown into the fray at the pitch during the 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic as Blackburn were relegated from the Premier League.
