Lazio took the lead in unusual fashion in the 21st minute after a defensive mix-up in the Inter defense saw goalkeeper Samir Handanovič turn the ball into his own net.

Inter leveled in the 33rd minute when Ricky Álvarez headed home Álvaro Pereira's cross, before Hernanes capped his 100th Serie A appearance with a goal from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.

The hosts then missed a second-half penalty of their own with Álvarez blazing his shot high over the bar.

Lazio substitute Onazi wrapped up the points for the visitors in 77th minute with a debut Serie A goal - and what a strike it was.

The 20-year-old Nigerian unleashed a spectacular 30-yard rocket that flew into the top corner where Handanovič had absolutely no chance.

The goal all but ended hopes of a comeback for Inter who will not feature on the continent next season following Udinese's win over Palermo.
