In front of an electrifying atmosphere at a packed Sun Life Stadium, Carlo Ancelotti's side immediately took control of the match against his former side.

After their dominance in the first 15 minutes, Madrid deservedly took the lead when Marcelo danced forward from let-back and found the bottom corner through the legs of Gary Cahill.

The lead did not last long, though, as Chelsea midfielder Ramires quickly cancelled out the opener.

A one touch-build-up involving Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku eventually found the Brazilian in the middle of the park.

Ramires then burst through Pepe and Sergio Ramos in trademark style and went in against goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

The Madrid goalkeeper charged off his line to cut down the angle, but Ramires calmly flicked the ball softly over him and into the net.

However, Cristiano Ronaldo soon took matters into his own hand, blasting an exquisite free-kick home after 30 minutes, before heading home the clincher early in the second half.
