Spectators of Germany's Regionalliga Bayern - the regionalised German fourth tier - have been treated recently with perhaps one of the game's greatest-ever own goals.
Schweinfurt 05 hosted 1860 Munich II in the German fourth-tier match last Thursday evening.
The visitors ran out 3-0 winners at the Willy-Sachs-Stadion with the second goal scored by the hosts' midfielder Stefan Seufert left a lasting impression.
Seufert made a challenge on an opponent inside the centre circle, but only managed to blast the ball towards his own goal, beyond his own goalkeeper, and into the back of the net.
