Friday, October 24, 2008

Former Arsenal striker Dennis Bergkamp has revealed he would like to return to England as a coach.

The 39-year-old has already started working towards his coaching badges and admits he would be tempted if any offers came in from England.

The Dutchman, who retired at the end of the 2005-06 season, told BBC London: "People ask me the question if I could come back to England one day to coach and I say yes.

"I always enjoyed it here and it's a fantastic country to be involved in football. Maybe in the future I will be back in some way."

Bergkamp has already started working towards his coaching badges.

The Arsenal legend played over 400 matches for the Gunners in his 11-year spell at Highbury - he departed before the Gunners moved to their new Emirates Stadium home.
