Drogba silent on rumours

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has refused to comment on reports suggesting he met with Inter Milan officials, according to Sky Sports.

The report claimed Drogba and one of his representatives recently met Inter's sporting director Marco Branca and José Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, at Italian restaurant Lucio — a favourite of Chelsea players and executives.

However, Mourinho insisted on Tuesday that he knew nothing about the discussions, although Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari admitted he could not rule out the possibility that Drogba had met with Inter officials.

Drogba has been having a difficult season because of injury, suspension and the loss of his automatic starting role to the in-form Nicolas Anelka.

"I don't have anything to say," Drogba told skysports.com.

"I am upset about the reaction on my comeback game, I made an error.

"I have always said I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010, no comment about the supposed meeting."
