Real Madrid midfielder Guti seems closer to leaving the Bernabéu after admitting that he would welcome a move to Inter Milan "with open arms."

The 33-year-old, who has spent his entire career at Real after coming through their youth academy, has had a troubled season with the Spanish giants.

Before last weekend's 2-0 home win over Real Mallorca, he had not played for over two months amid reports of a bust-up with coach Manuel Pellegrini.

"Inter would welcome me with open arms? I would go there," Guti told Canal+.

"Inter are a great club where I have good friends in Samuel Eto'o and Wesley Sneijder.

"They are a team that can aspire to win everything and I must admit this would be one of my best options."

He added: "I would like to end my contract at Real Madrid but it is also true that I would love to be able to play for another team.

"To be able to enjoy another culture, to be able to enjoy another life, other team-mates, another league.
