Real Madrid made it nine wins from nine at home this season after a 2-0 win against Real Mallorca at a snow-covered Bernabéu.
The hosts opened the scoring after eight minutes when in-form striker Gonzalo HiguaÃn darted in from the right before cutting inside and curling an unstoppable left-footed shot into the far top corner.
HiguaÃn then set up Real's second as he slipped past his defender and crossed to Esteban Granero who netted with a left-footed volley from a tight angle.
