In-form strike duo Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo HiguaÃn were on target as Real Madrid registered a 2-0 away victory at Racing Santander.
Ronaldo opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 23rd minute after the Portugal international had been brought down by José Moratón in the area.
HiguaÃn sealed the win 14 minutes from time, latching onto a Guti pass before coolly slotting home past Fabio Coltorti.
