Cristiano Ronaldo struck his first Real Madrid hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Real Mallorca to trim the gap on leaders Barcelona back to one point with two games remaining.
Aritz Aduriz had threatened to derail Real's title bid when he headed Mallorca in front after 16 minutes, but Ronaldo equalised 10 minutes later with a brave finish for his first of the night.
Ronaldo then put Real ahead in the 57th minute before completing his treble 18 minutes from time.
There was still time for Gonzalo HiguaÃn to add icing to the victory as he scooped in a late fourth to seal an impressive comeback for Los Merengues.
