Vincenzo Iaquinta hints at future Premier League move

Sunday, May 9, 2010

Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta has revealed he would be open to a move to the Premier League in the future.

The Bianconeri are currently planning a major rebuilding process following the appointment of new president Andrea Agnelli, who hopes to deliver the Champions League to the Stadio Olimpico within the next three years.

Iaquinta, who has previously been linked with Chelsea, struggled to cement his place in Juve's squad until injury to Amauri and David Trezeguet saw him become an ever-present in the side before he was sidelined for six months with a major injury.

"I have frequently been in the middle of market rumours," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"It's a pleasure, but there have been only rumours. I'm happy to stay at Juve.

"I have a three-years deal and I hope to win something.

"The Premier League, it's a good league. I would like one day to close my career in Premier. We will see. In football you never can say something."
