Samuel Eto'o offers advice to bad-boy Mario Balotelli

Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o has warned the hot-headed Mario Balotelli to sort his attitude out if he is to fulfill his potential.

Balotelli, who looks to be on the brink of moving to Manchester City, is widely regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in Italy.

However, despite only a short career in the first-team so far, controversy has surrounded the 19-year-old, who famously fell out with former boss José Mourinho, supporters and a string of team-mates last season.

And Eto'o, himself notoriously tempestuous, believes that Balotelli "must sort some things out in his head" if he wants to be a success.

Eto'o said in The Daily Star Sunday: "Mario has the potential to go on and be one of the best players in the world, but he must sort some things out in his head.

"The older players at Inter have always tried to advise him. I am not sure how successfully but, if he is to be a success and not waste his career he must listen to the players at Manchester City.

"This is the chance for a fresh start."
